We take you into the world of fraud and corruption.

Two days of films and documentaries examining fraud in online
scams, whistleblowing, sport, cryptocurrency, romantic deception, facial recognition and AI.

The festival

Held annually over two days, the Fraud Film Festival delves into the issue of fraud from multiple perspectives. Through films and documentaries, the complex topics of fraud and corruption are brought to the forefront, engaging a broad audience.

Our purpose

All activities of the Fraud Film Festival arise from its mission: to raise awareness of and stimulate understanding about the impact of fraud.

The Fraud Film Festival achieves this by connecting networks across the public and private sectors. Central to its approach are the screening of inspiring documentaries and participation in critical debates. The Fraud Film Festival maintains a neutral and independent stance in these discussions. Its goal is to provide a platform for knowledge sharing, fostering debate, and encouraging measures to prevent and combat fraud.

Two days of documentaries

Over the years, the Fraud Film Festival has screened documentaries exploring some of the world’s most notorious frauds, from Lehman Brothers and Lance Armstrong to Hanse Cronje and Ashley Madison.

Past selections have delved into fraud across diverse fields: fine art, business, commerce, government, sport, and even “competitive endurance tickling”.

The second day is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased on the website. Again, partners and interested parties from the private and public sectors will be present. In addition, more and more educational institutions are also present on this day.

Apart from showcasing films and documentaries, the prestigious Anti-Fraud Award is presented annually, interactive FFF Lab-sessions are conducted each year, and ample networking opportunities abound for making new connections.
